The history of valve production in Romania is almost one and the same with the history of SC ARMATURA SA, from Cluj-Napoca. In January 1889 is founded in Bucharest the first romanian valves manufacturing company, namely "The Water, Natural Gas and Steam Valves Production Company".
The company will take over the production of valves made of non-ferous allies, and also will manufacture the valves for the natural gas based public illumination network in Bucharest.
After the end of the First World War, in 1929 respectively 1935, two other similary profiled firms are founded in Cluj Napoca. In 1949, the existing 3 firms are merged into one, under the ARMATURA trademark, keeping the geographic location (Cluj) and technological profile (the production of non-ferrous valves) for the newborn firm.
Based on it's centurial tradition, ARMATURA became the main manufacturer and distributor of valves today in Romania. In the romanian industrial landscape of today, ARMATURA is a large manufacturer, with 607 highly qualified specialists working, exercising their professional skils and fulfilling their personal aspirations.Leader at national level in the domain of valve manufacturing, ARMATURA is one of the most significant manufacturers in Europe.
ARMATURA products can be found in all lodgings, industrial plants and administrative buildings in Romania, and in other 25 countries on 5 continets. ARMATURA is totally capable of selfproviding the necessary semiproducts, forged and moulded from cast-iron and non-ferrous allies, aquiring the status of forged and moulded items distributor.
The processing, fitting and testing of all our products are entirely accomplished by us, by means of specialized equipment.
Each ARMATURA product shows a distinctive conception, defined by our specialists, who also develop the technologies and produce the tools. Our staff ensures the equipment repairing as well, so the necesary production means might be well distributed.
