Quality, reliability and innovation - these values have been the basis for more than 50 years of economic success of Blickle Räder+Rollen GmbH u. Co. KG. Founded on July 1, 1953, Blickle is now one of Europe´s leading wheels and castors manufacturers.
Today, the internationally operating Blickle group employs a staff of approx. 500, of which 350 are based at the Rosenfeld location.
Blickle wheels and castors provide manoeuvrability to machines and transport equipment of all kinds. The Blickle standard range covers more than 20,000 wheel and castor types in capacity ranges between 15 kg and 20 tons.
Large batches, small batches or single items: Blickle produces millions of wheels and castors each year. Such quantities can only be realised by a high degree of automation. We utilise fully automatic machines and robots wherever they facilitate improved quality and increased efficiency.
Our production lines are laid out in accordance with the principle of short distances and flexibility. In short: Wherever we detect an opportunity to save our customers´ time and money, we seize it.
However, high-quality manual labour simply remains irreplaceable. It facilitates a rapid and flexible reaction to customer requests by our production staff. This way, even short-notice orders for small batches pose no problems.
Each and every task depends entirely on the correct tool. The direct transmission of CAD data to our in-house tool makers guarantees short development times. Each Blickle punching and drawing tool is a high-capacity unicum, constructed and manufactured right in the heart of our plant.
Blickle customers are our partners and partners deserve simply the best. Therefore, Blickle selects only optimum raw materials and the material is subjected to a thorough inspection on receipt.
Each and every wheel and castor is tested after each individual production step. This is what we understand by 100 % quality control. The fact that, as early as in 1994, Blickle was the first German wheel and castor manufacturer to be granted ISO 9001 certification is therefore not at all suprising.
