1) What are the fees for legal services?
Our legal fees depend on your circumstances and the complexity of your legal matter. We always provide you with an upfront quote for legal services and, in many cases, we offer flat-fee retainer agreements so that you know from the beginning what your total legal costs will be.
2) Should I hire a lawyer?
Many simple immigration problems can be solved without the assistance of a lawyer and depending on the legal fees involved, you may wish to consult with a lawyer in some circumstances. In general we recommend that a lawyer should be hired if:
(i) you are a professional and do not have the time to prepare your own application;
(ii) you prefer the peace of mind of having an experienced immigration lawyer care for your file from beginning to end;
(iii) there is a significant legal issue, such as in humanitarian cases, that can only be properly addressed with the assistance of a lawyer; or
(iv) you are not familiar with the English language and do not understand what the immigration process entails.

Mr. Constantin C. Mitelut is a licensed lawyer by the Law Society of British Columbia. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association. Other staff at our office have legal degrees and education from Canada and abroad.
